What is a takeover booking?

A takeover booking is when Luxterra Travels assumes management of an existing hotel reservation and becomes the agent of record. With your approval, we can then apply our exclusive benefits and provide ongoing support. To initiate, simply forward your confirmation email along to info@luxterratravels.com with a note stating:

“I approve Luxterra Travels to be the agent of record and take over my reservation.”

Takeovers can typically be applied to direct hotel bookings (and in some cases, cruise bookings) made at the hotel’s Best Available Rate. Some promotional rates may also qualify. Please note: the final decision lies with the hotel, and in rare cases, they may decline.

We’re unable to take over bookings made through third-party platforms (like Expedia, Priceline, Booking.com, or Amex Travel) or stays reserved using hotel or credit card loyalty points.
